Google Analytics measures a number of statistics based upon the Google code running on the page displayed within a web browser. That is, it depends on the page being displayed to the person and the Google code running, then sending information back to Google to analyze. Depending on the user's device and browser settings, firewalls, spam checkers, etc it is possible that the google analytics code is not run.
A Telligence Page View is collected when a page is completely displayed and is controlled directly by our servers that create the page. We do not offer any more breakdown of the page counts than what is available. Google Analytics typically gives more insight. There will often be discrepancies between Google Analytics (measured at the browser) and Telligence Page Views (measured at the server). Google Analytics will also discount new web bots and search engines that are included in the Telligence server page view figures. |
