Associated & Linked Campaigns

The Email and SMS Campaign module not only allows you to import lists and have public subscriber lists but can also dynamically pull information from other modules so you can email 

You can use the above features by linking a campaign to as Associated Module when you are setting up a campaign. For more information see Add Email Campaign & Add SMS Campaign

To send an email or SMS to members you will need to follow all of the same instructions as a normal campaign however the process will change after you click "Send" your option for recipients will change. See Send an Email Campaign & Send an SMS Campaign for all instructions prior to Sending. 

 

Membership Linked Campaigns

  • To send an email to members you will need to make sure that the campaign has the "Membership Module" as it's associated module
  • When you are ready to send click on the "Send" button as per the normal process

  • You will then be taken to a Membership Search Page which allows you to select
    • Membership: You can choose which Membership Level you wish to send the email to
    • Member Status: You can choose which Status you wish to send the email to i.e. "Current, Pending or Expired" members
    • Membership Start Range: if you wish to only have members who have started within a certain range you can enter the required dates
    • State: If you wish to only contact a particular state select the relevant state from the dropdown, otherwise leave it blank.  Note: This filter will only work if you have State field completed in your membership data
  • When you have completed the fields click "Search"


 

  • A message at the top will appear and tell you how many members have been found using the selected filters "There are 27 addresses that this email can be sent to"



 

  • You then need to choose who the message is sent to. You can choose to "Select All" by clicking on the small tick box located to the left of the "SELECT ALL' heading. Then click in the relevant button 
  • So if you "De-Select All" you can individually click on the members you would like to send the email and then click "Send"
  • Otherwise click Select All and "Send All"
  • This will start the process of sending the email immediately. Note: Emails will enter a queue and may take up to 15 minutes to be sent. The email will appear in the Pending Campaigns list on your Email Campaigns page.
     

 

Store Linked Campaigns

  • To send an email to people who have purchased from the Store Module the "Online Store" as it's associated module
  • When you are ready to send click on the "Send" button as per the normal process
     

  • You will then be taken to a Store Search Filter
    • Reviewed Product ID Only - if you have product reviews turned on and want to search for people who have given a review click on the Search Products button next to this field and select the relevant product they have reviewed.
    • Purchased Product ID Only - if you would like to contact people who have purchased a certain product click on the Search Products button next to this field and select the relevant product 
    • Purchased from Brand - select a brand from this dropdown list if you want to email people who have purchased from a particular brand
    • Purchased from Category: select a category from this dropdown list if you want to email people who have purchased from a particular category
    • Order Status: select a particular order status or select All,  Paid, Payment Pending,  Shipped, Cancelled
    • Completed Orders Only: tick the box if you wish to email only completed orders. 
  • Once you have completed the filters click "Search Users"
  • A message at the top will appear and tell you how many members have been found using the selected filters "There are 27 addresses that this email can be sent to"
  • You then need to choose who the message is sent to. You can choose to "Select All" by clicking on the small tick box located to the left of the "SELECT ALL' heading. Then click in the relevant button 
  • So if you "De-Select All" you can individually click on the users you would like to send the email and then click "Send"
  • Otherwise click Select All and "Send All"

Security Linked Campaigns

  • To send an email to people who have a certain role in Security you need to have "Security" as it's associated module
  • When you are ready to send click on the "Send" button as per the normal process
     

  • You will then be taken to a screen that asks you to Select one or more of the following groups
  • A list of all of the roles on your site will appear select one or more groups by holding down COMMAND or CTRL and select the groups you wish to send the email to
  • Then click "Search Users" 

 

  • A message at the top will appear and tell you how many members have been found using the selected filters "There are 27 addresses that this email can be sent to"
  • You then need to choose who the message is sent to. You can choose to "Select All" by clicking on the small tick box located to the left of the "SELECT ALL' heading. Then click in the relevant button 
  • So if you "De-Select All" you can individually click on the users you would like to send the email and then click "Send"
  • Otherwise click Select All and "Send All"
  • This will start the process of sending the email immediately. Note: Emails will enter a queue and may take up to 15 minutes to be sent. The email will appear in the Pending Campaigns list on your Email Campaigns page.

Events Linked Campaigns

  • To send an email to people who have registered to attend a certain event you need to have "Events" as it's associated module
  • When you are ready to send click on the "Send" button as per the normal process
     

  • You will then be taken to a screen that asks you to select the event from a dropdown list that people have registered for
  • Then click Search

  • A message at the top will appear and tell you how many members have been found using the selected filters "There are 27 addresses that this email can be sent to"
  • You then need to choose who the message is sent to. You can choose to "Select All" by clicking on the small tick box located to the left of the "SELECT ALL' heading. Then click in the relevant button 
  • So if you "De-Select All" you can individually click on the users you would like to send the email and then click "Send"
  • Otherwise click Select All and "Send All"
